Hi, I'm Joann Yette and I'm a lifetime resident of Northern New York.  I was born and raised in Potsdam and moved to nearby Parishville in 2004 with my husband and growing family.  

Over the years, I have assisted countless friends and family members in planning their weddings; assisted my musician/DJ husband with dozens of weddings and fundraising events; and planned multiple Sweet Sixteen parties, anniversary parties, and school fundraisers.  I've been involved in event planning, coordination, and execution in one form or another since 1998. 

Through all of this, I have established professional relationships with venue owners, photographers, hair and make-up artists, entertainers, and caterers.  Much to my husband's chagrin,  I have invested in many party/catering supplies over the years and most recently have revamped a vintage 1970's camper into a full-service mobile bar which I call The Toasted Hive!

The Happy Hive is my dream come true.   My husband has always called me "The Queen" and through this endeavor that has become "The Queen Bee."  I decided to go with a Bee motif for the business, so you'll see me use terms like hive, brood, buzz, and more.



The Brood

I am blessed to have a supportive family, my brood.  In addition to my musician/DJ husband who also helped with the camper remodel, I have wonderful supportive children.  My three oldest - Madison, Cody, & Kennedy are all New York ATAP (Alcohol Training Awareness Program) certified servers.  Even little Sophia helps out with product demos and modeling with "her" bounce house.  Cody & Kennedy both help out DJing events when "The Rockstar Husband" is booked with a band gig.
